Driving Personalities

I have not been a New Jersey certified driver for a long time at all, but I have seen many types of drivers. The privilege of driving is often taken advantage of. People abuse it and do some incredibly silly things. I have observed the diverse driving styles of people from all over the state. I am not too sure how the drivers are out in California, but New Jersey is not an easy place to drive.
I feel that you can notice a lot about people by how they drive and how they react to certain situations while driving. They feel superior to those who cannot drive, which even I feel sometimes. Being able to drive makes you feel better than those who cannot. Are all drivers the same though? No, everyone is different in their own way. One person will react different to a red light than another person. There are those drivers that will always stop to let someone out; they are not too aggressive when it comes to driving. A lot of people never let someone out and just do what they need to do to get wherever they are heading. What I absolutely hate is slow drivers! There are a good amount of people who love to drive the actual speed limit. It is good that they abide by the rules, but come on now! If you are in a 35, you do not have to only go 35! There are people who like to drive a lot faster than the speed limit as well. They do not really pay any attention to how fast they are supposed to go. It is more about how fast they want to go. These types of people usually have points on their licenses and a lot of tickets. I have not seen it all, that is for sure, but I have seen people do dangerous and crazy things while behind the wheel. I have not seen people speed through red lights and fly down Route nine. It seems that people do not take much notice to others when they drive. I have seen people do kind things, as well. People always let people go when they have been waiting for a while. I have seen people get out of their cars to help broken down cars. That is an example of people not thinking about just themselves for once.
I really do think that a person's driving reflects their personality. If they are a short-tempered person, it will most certainly show in their driving. A person with manners and kindness will be a very modest driver. Some people do change when they drive. If you do not know them that well, they can come off as a nice person. But get behind the wheel with them and they might not seem so nice anymore. I am lucky enough to never have been in an accident. I have not gotten pulled over yet, either! I want to be a good driver, but not an old person type of driver. I drive however I want to. Sometimes my mood will reflect my driving. I guess your personality really does change when you are behind the wheel.
